Rural communities in Eastern Uganda face persistent challenges that limit opportunities for children, youth, and women. Many children lack access to quality education, while youth and women struggle with unemployment due to limited skills training and scarce economic opportunities. This contributes to cycles of poverty, dependency, and vulnerability. At the same time, climate change is intensifying, threatening livelihoods, food security, and the resilience of grassroots communities. Without inclusive education, practical skills development, and climate action, marginalized groups remain excluded from sustainable growth. Addressing these interconnected challenges is urgent to empower communities, reduce poverty, and build resilience for a sustainable future.
